Ministries

We invite you to take a few minutes to see the many areas of ministry going on at Clarks Mills.  We hope that you will join us and share your ministry gifts with our church family!

Evangelism and Outreach

We have an active team of lay people dedicated to reaching out to the community outside our walls.  It is the number one goal of our church to reach people with the love of God right where they are, without them coming to us.  We believe that the mission of the church should be outward focused, not inward.  The group of believers worshiping inside the church building at Clarks Mills believe that their existence is for those outside the walls of the church.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!'”
-Isaiah 52:7 (NIV)

Morning Worship

We invite you to join us in worshiping the Living God every Sunday at 10:45AM.  We offer a blended worship style with both contemporary and traditional elements of praise.  The first Sunday of the month is Holy Communion Sunday, and all are welcome to come to the table of Christ’s grace and mercy as we celebrate our fellowship with one another and our great Redeemer!  Prayer at the open altar is offered to all who want to bear their burdens before God, and we invite your spirit to be refreshed and your journey encouraged by Pastor Adam’s sermons.  To hear a sermon, please click here to listen.

Sunday School

The mission of our Sunday School is to build an educational program centered on Jesus Christ that is both welcoming and nurturing.  We have recently re-launched our Sunday School/Discipleship ministries to accommodate the ever-changing needs of believers of all ages.  Every Sunday morning at 9:30, we offer age-appropriate lessons that will help children, youth, and adults grow in their faith and challenge them to go deeper in their relationship with Christ.  Multiple adult classes are available, and we encourage participants to try out new classes to see which group is the best fit.

Youth Group

Junior High and Senior High youth are invited to join us for fun, games, and Bible-based lessons that teach us how to live out our faith in high school and through our first jobs.  Youth meet each Sunday evening 6-7:30PM with special outings and events throughout the year.

Junior Youth

We have a special program just for kids from Kindergarten through 6th Grade!  They play games, make crafts, and learn a Bible lesson each week!  Junior Youth meets 6-7:30PM.  Family style dinners are also available at certain times of the year for Junior Youth.

Women’s Ministries

Clarks Mills offers two different women’s groups–the Early Birds (first Thursday of the month at 9:30AM) and the Night Owls (third Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM).  These groups offer a wide range of discipleship opportunities, mission outreaches, and fellowship.

Jubilee Daycare and Preschool

Our church offers a modern, licensed facility with programming available for infants all the way through school age children.  Preschool is offered for children ages 3 and 4 with multiple days and times available to suit the parents’ schedules.

Healing Service

Clarks Mills offers a healing service at prayer time during morning worship on the last Sunday of every month.  It is a time for the members of the church to gather together and pray for the healing of the sick and afflicted.  All are welcome.  If you would like to schedule a separate time to pray with the pastor and members of the congregation, please call the office at 724-747-8486.

Weekly Bible Study

Pastor Adam leads a Bible study each Wednesday at 10AM at the church for all interested laity.  This is an informal study where discussion and questions are not just accepted, but encouraged!  Coffee provided, and all are welcome!
