About Our Church

Clarks Mills UMC is located just a few miles north of historic Mercer, Pennsylvania, between I-79 and Route 19.  Situated on 10 acres, our campus offers a modern sanctuary for worship; a gymnasium for recreation, dinners, and wedding receptions; a softball field with pavilion; outdoor volleyball court; and access to the beautiful forests and rolling hills of Mercer County, Pa.

Our worship style is a blend of both contemporary and traditional styles centered on dynamic preaching and teaching that focuses on Jesus Christ, foundational Christian doctrine, practicing spiritual gifts, and Christian discipleship.  Sunday School for all ages, as well as junior church and nursery are available for children, along with a full compliment of varied adult classes, Bible studies, and small groups.

Our campus is also home to Jubilee Daycare and Preschool, which fulfills a vital role in our community serving families with children from all walks of life, with a custom daycare program that can be tailor-fit to meet the needs of most families.

Because we understand the complex needs of modern families, the ministry team at Clarks Mills strives to ensure that free, safe childcare is available during all worship services and young adult activities.  We also realize the importance of having safe, reliable staffing and volunteers.  Clarks Mills’ staff and volunteers are fully screened and compliant with all federal and state child safety laws.

In addition to our weekend worship, we offer several weekday and evening events, including Prime Timers (for Senior Citizens), Bible studies, scouting programs, fitness programs, and small groups.  We constantly strive to take ministry outside of our campus, reaching into Clarks Mills and the surrounding communities to reach those in need in all stages of life and show them the love of Jesus Christ.
